We have modern machinery at our disposal for this purpose, enabling us to conduct these activities with a minimum of disruption. Our track layers take pride of place: they are capable of laying tracks and track switches in fully prefabricated units of up to 40 tons all in one piece. This is unique in Belgium.
For its maintenance activities, this department has a tamper, around 30 railway cranes and an extensive fleet of other machinery. Train, tram and metro lines are among the possibilities.
